This boy, who is now a man, was my first paid tuition student in 1995 or 1996. He aced Math at PSLE. I am very happy and proud of him. You can read his story here.
Although I appreciate this student's kind words, I have a long, long way to go before I achieve the success I envision. Were I to die before achieving that, then know that I am/was just a work-in-progress, with many thousands of miles to walk still, with hundreds of dreams unrealised. Should I fulfil a good part of the vision, that would be wonderful, and it means that the future years will be filled with lots of very interesting and meaningful projects and activities. God willing.
Yet I know that I am just a man with limited means and reach. Maybe I will not achieve much more than what I have done so far. But again, I don't know and must therefore, strive to the utmost to concretise the vision. Yet again, I really wonder how the last lap will be. Will it be a short lap before I bid the world farewell? Or do I have another 2 decades to concretise the vision in my mind? Only God knows.
