I helped establish 4 schools – two in Indonesia, one in Malaysia and one in Cambodia. My involvement with the Indonesian schools IIS PSM (International Islamic School Persantren Sabilin Muttaqin (Link1) and MAGS (Mathla’ul Anwar Global School (Link2) was more in the international programmes and academic departments. However, with AiU International School (now transformed and renamed to KS International School [Link3]) and Emaan International School (Link4 or Link5), I was involved with the whole works. I was on the ground helping the schools start from scratch, involved from conceptualisation to actual smooth running. For Emaan International School, I also helped to design the school curriculum.
